If you made a joke at my expense when i'm going through a tough time, and if I told you i didn't find that funny, and you insisted I just had no humor and that you were doing the right thing for me over and over again, I would not consider that a kind positive thing. And the fact that you refuse to acknowledge a situation where you would be wrong in doing so speaks volumes about your "kindness"
