Didn't they sort that out?

Or maybe it's still stupid, and you got lucky.

"Our best guess is someone was bored, and made a silly thing, or there was a weird fad around this time, but that doesn't sound good"

Fell out of the stupid tree, and cracked his skull on every branch on the way down.

Sounds like a recipe for things to devolve into an *actual* war.

It is getting slowly more expensive to extract as we drain the easier to access deposits. The end of oil isn't coming as some sudden magical wall as deposits all run dry, it's more of a slow creeping decline towards economic irrelevance as extraction costs rise, and the cost of renewables drops. It's hardly coming tomorrow, but it is inevitable.

I mean, the oil is finite, and renewables are on the rise, so...

Far too coherent too be the US government in 2026.

Pine tar. Melts at a significantly lower temp, and is thus significantly less fatal.

Eh, this is probably more of a symptom of the general paralysis that's been going on since the GOP decided they wanted to play obstructionist in the Obama years. Oh, and Reagan. We just don't have the capacity to train enough controllers, and haven't for a long time.

I mean, I don't know why anyone is surprised. We elected the openly corrupt idiot, and a senate that willingly confirmed a gaggle of lying fucks chosen for blind loyalty over anything else.

If their mouths are moving, they're probably lying. If they aren't lying, they're probably bending the truth.

They might just dodge discovery entirely by dragging it out to the point where they get a default judgement against them.

Or more likely he didn't have the brainpower and self control to keep his stupid mouth in check, despite *knowing* whatever he said could be used against him in court.

Typical. The kind of person that does this is too fuckin' stupid to realize the jail phones are all recorded, and if you start saying you hope for a genocide of trans people when you're about to go on trial for assault and hate crimes against a transwoman, the prosecutor WILL use that to NAIL YOUR DUMB ASS TO THE WALL.

Were they federal charges? If they're state charges he was convicted on, trump can't pardon those.

Dear lord. Could you imagine if they staged a serious false flag attack and bungled it bad enough that no one but the flavor-aid drinkers could believe it?

Is it still illegal if it's entirely incidental to their surveillance of a foreign agent? Like they go through a russian agent's texts, find convos with tucker in there, and give the texts from the russian's phone to the FBI.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I mean, if they were reading Tucker's texts because they were intercepting texts to some russian agency, wouldn't they then forward that to the FBI/DoJ?

Or is just straight up delusional, probably with a giant side order of narcissism.

#5 I mean, that'd depend entirely on who's president at the time, wouldn't it?

Biden? Probably have at least some values.

Dumbfuck'n'chief? You have no values, and probably dementia, just like him.

I mean "Iridescent Blue-Green Starling" is more descriptive, but rather dry.

I mean, the only way for him to wrap this up neatly is probably to airfreight himself and hegseth to Tehran.

And even then, it's going to take some time to de-mine the strait.

Huh. Where was his son when things went boom?

'nam, but bigger and stupider.

And we're led by morons, and Iran has been preparing for this for decades.

We'd probably need more than 20/1000

Giving them a chance and watching them blow it because of their own inherent failings is *far* more educational.

That way there are studies and textbooks that explain how their selfishness and need to have someone to look down on destroyed them.

Another goddamn forever conflict that'll poison relations in the region for longer than any us will live.

Nah, a good 40% were just too lazy or stupid to vote. Others were disenfranchised in some way. There's a reason a lot of blue counties in red states have multi-hour lines to vote, while reliably red ones take minutes.

Oof. Can't drop the /s these days.

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

No, no. Give them a good, solid fighting chance of making it, and watch the inevitable infighting tear them apart until they blow up their own life support systems fighting each other.
