I think SG1 and Star treck next gen. as they used a lot of practical effect, they had budget for a few good quality sets and all that, it holds up just look up if there is a skipes thoes episodes becuase they where written and the sort of nulled by the show plus early epsidoes getting parts retconed later by writters not thinking it through (or if there is an episode thats really slow).
