I'm a physics undergrad student. Girl. Enjoys drawing, reading, volunteers at the local aviary, was a significant contributor to Pokemon Sage. Loves birds, butterflies, and dragons. PM me stuff if you want to chat.

Exemplary indoor cat enrichment, I love to see it! Adapt your environment to your cat's needs and enrich their life responsibly, don't let your cat roam and kill animals.

TNR is a waste of money. Feeding the cats increases the population more than TNR could possibly decrease it.

It’s a terrible development for the crabs and our environment.

I used to have high tolerance. Now even one beer will triggers poor sleep and a migraine in the morning.

Dissociation? Ever tried DBT? Focuses on feelings and practical actions instead of introspection. Might help. Sorry to hear :(

Cats aren't good for rats - they're too large compared to other animals and sources of food. You want ratting dogs for rats.

Wonderful pets in captivity. Frustrated at how many people give cats a free pass and refuse to recognize how ecologically damaging they are.

Wow equating a native species with an invasive one. Absolute genius. Guess Asian Carp in NA lakes are OK too?

Unless kept contained, cats are indiscriminate and also maim and kill frogs, birds, snakes, chipmunks, etc. Horrible invasive species.

The trick of using a juice syringe alongside the medication syringe is clever and something I haven't seen before.

Harnessed cat responsibly enjoying the outdoors = as many upvotes as I can give you

So sorry you've been through this. Unless your aunt takes your side and is fully honest, it's likely she's with your mom. :'(

Horses, lizards, dogs, parrots, turtles, rats, fish. All enriched safely in captivity. None left to roam. You need enrichment 101 classes.

Leash and catio and cat backpack and cat tram. Contained != kept inside 100% of the time.

Domestic housecat? No. The density of wildcats is so much lower than the density of housecats.

3 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Awesome, which is why we're trying to limit our impact too.

Wildcats don't have near the density of the housecat, that's a huge reason why they're so invasive even in places with wildcats.

Proper enrichment, safe for the cat and our wildlife. Great!

Cats are a human-caused problem. Tied with rats as most damaging invasive species. We need to mitigate them and our own activity.

No. Prey includes frogs, snakes, mice, chipmunks, baby birds, adult birds, etc. Bell != danger to these animals, and the cat will adapt.

I'm in love! Thank you for sharing these. I think Sylens' and "clever girl" are my favourite lmao.

Over parking lots, houses, canals. A lot of people live in concrete hell, might as well use them to shade while working.

Proper cat care. Supervising your cat while it's out, not letting it roam to kill.
