I know hills are hell on brakes, and that 18wheelers have air brakes, but other than that, I got nothing. What actually causes this kind of failure?
I was brought up with stuff like, Our family is no good. No one in this family will ever amount to anything. We're from the wrong side of the tracks. There's always going to be someone better than you, so stop trying. Took a lot of therapy to unpack all that.But I can say proudly, my child has never heard any of that!
I've BEEN saying this, but most Catholics don't believe it. Look at the history in this country, groups like the Klan hated Irish, Italians, Cajuns etc. Catholics will be tolerated as long as it is convenient, but at the first opportunity, they will be thrown under the bus.
If more guns really made everyone safer, you absolutely would be allowed to carry guns into any government building. But you're not. For the most obvious reason.
Company who believes they have the right to ignore all copyright laws, has their code leaked. Mmm hmmm...

Well, thanks to his hand picked judges, he'd be allowed to have them all [redacted] and replaced as often as he wants as long as he calls it an "official" action. But I'm glad to see some of them choosing the Constitution over whatever the wannabe fuhrer says.
You could take anything that man has said, and find footage or a tweet of him claiming the opposite. Now it's often in the same speech!
My uncle spent 30+ years, 364 nights a year, delivering newspapers for one of our state's biggest publishers. He missed so many family events, and never took a vacation. He even had to work the night his dad died.One day, two years before he was set to retire, they called in everyone and fired the whole lot. Sure, I'll work, and I will do my job well, but I will NEVER be loyal to a company.

Why ICE though, besides the obvious.Any time I've ever had to get on base (as a civilian) I had to go through vetting and a background check before being allowed to step foot through the gate. And that was never done by ICE.
However in the US, it does not.

I stayed over at my sister's house one night a while back. She's married with a family of 5. The first alarm goes off, classic blaring boop boop boop.Then the second, a screeching beeep beeep beeep.Then the third, literal shotgun sound effects.This went on for like 15 minutes, and no one moved. I don't know how people live like this.
I'm in a red area of the US. The only thing most people have noticed is the price of gas has gone up slightly. That's it. It's business as usual, because unless it affects them personally, most people here will not care.
That district dodging cities like Neo dodging bullets.

Because of my job, I get to meet a lot of business owners. Every single one of them either had someone to take care of the home and bills and family while they worked ridiculous hours, or they inherited/daddy bought the business they now own.
Someone said llamas chew the way Carlton dances, and now I think about this every time I see one.
I love visiting the mountains of New Orleans!
I would never have believed we'd have so many people cheering in full support.
All our metrics went up. People were happier. Profits went up. But now we're all back in the office, and even our resident bubbly people are miserable.
