My dad used to build military miniatures as a hobby (and a way to deal with his PTSD) in the 70s. So, think Warhammer 40k, but 1/35th scale world war II era figures, tanks and dioramas. I used to help him. One day, an X-Acto I was working with rolled off the table (my fault), and landed point down in my leg.I learned to stay. the. fuck. away. from falling knives the hard way. A knife falls and I'm instantly 10 feet away from that thing.

That article says 750 wounded or killed since October 2023 - not since the start of the current war. This post is very misleading.
1. The cats don't "hate it" - their ears are not pulled back and they're not hissing.2. Most cats, though not all, will do this. I don't know exactly what it means, but I get the impression that it's kind of like a feline "gesundheit".
I hate to be "that guy", but while the story is sweet, the clipped writing style smacks of AI.

I understand your point, but I think that if the actors *do* care about the source material, the end production is so much better than if they don't. So, it's not necessarily a requirement, but it does add to the over all quality, assuming, as you point out, that the director and showrunners actually care, and are familiar with the source material.
