I don't know much about those except they are common and pretty hardy. Depending on where you are, temp may play a more defined role as well.
As long as your company doesn't mind, maybe add a simple timer to an outlet. Have it to where it turns on from sunrise, and it goes off at sunset. That might be too much. Maybe google lens the plant If you're not sure what type it is and see if it offers suggestions for indoor care.
Haha, is it a grow light? Office windows may be blocking certain wavelengths.
If it is coming in from the outside, it might be in shock. If it had adjusted to life on the outside, the switch might be detrimental. Like I said, I'm no professional on the subject. I grow veggies.
