Uh, 13 days, not 12 weeks. So about 2.5 workweeks.
Hm, someone said it might be TEB, and it looks like it could be. That is an FAA tower.
Not sure exactly where this is but I doubt it's an FAA facility. Likely a contract tower. I'm not an expert but I've heard you don't start accruing sick leave until you have a year in.
Any thoughts from @isetprettygirlsonfire?
What's the source on #14? I recognize the artist from the "hotel black light raccoon" sketch but I've never seen anything else from them.
Maxim 43: If it's stupid but it works, it's still stupid and you're lucky.
I think the vent pipe broke off when the guy/snowblower slammed into it. See how the tracks on the roof change trajectory right at the point where the pipe was. And there are a bunch of details that are the same between the two pictures: Angles of tree branches, bumps on the snow bank, less-cleared patches in the path on the left side of the roof. I would say it's real.

#21 is why I downvoted. Fuck AI. Shame on you.
I come back to this post time and time again.
I assumed the diver tracker down that guy and found his daughter. Not that the diver was the daughter.
First of all she didn't go deaf until she was 19 months old. Plenty of kids are saying at least some words by then. But my point was that your comment made it sound like she was always mute, which is simply wrong.
Which is not correct at all. She was deaf and BLIND, not dumb. She had a 50-year public speaking career.

Obviously AI vocals but the tune for #2 is Stan Rogers' "The Mary Ellen Carter." Amazing song; made up, but one guy who was in a shipwreck kept himself alive until rescuers showed up by singing it to himself... https://youtu.be/Fhop5VuLDIQ

And also, I thought it was actually true that the act of birth exposes the newborn to bacteria which is a Good Thing for developing immunity or preventing allergies or something? At the very least, we can say that there are microbiome differences between the two types of newborns. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC5648605/

It's called Starry now. Don't know if the formula/flavor changed or just the brand name.
#22 I feel like making caramel is something that should not be done topless no matter one's gender or lack thereof, because of how it involves hot sugar
They're driving on the center part of the road which has maybe been plowed and anyway has been packed down by traffic. The truck is trying to get out of a parking spot with snow all around it.
#50 I'll gate on the Swastitruck any day of the week but this can happen to non-fascist cars too. The solution is to have a couple people push on the back of the car while the driver gently revs it, but the trick is not to strain constantly. You ROCK the car forward, let it fall back, then use the rebound to push it forward again. Repeat until you get over the hump of snow and the wheels find grip again.
