it's interesting that you do almost no sketching. it's like to draw the final product in the first stroke of your pen. How do you do this?
may have to alter in future if selling house and doesn't pass inspection. until then, it'll suffice.
go to see how it holds up this winter. doesn't get too cold. shouldn't have problems with minor preventative measures.
so i installed a piece of cedar (for its resistance to rot) and ran the copper pipe through it. Everything working fine so far.

I have not found that to be the case. I did not track my numbers/percentages, but I would estimate about 50% germination rate.
