I'm gonna get down voted for bringing logic but here goes... The bosses still have jobs, the workers, who were starting at $18/hr don't. In the USA most hydrant water is also fresh drinking water and California can hardly even keep water on for homes. That warehouse was enough of the paper toiletries to impact the costs on the west coast. The Luigi approach would have been cleaner and more ecologically/economically friendly.
I wear them because I'm stupid and living between Italy and Colombia since USA is so fucked right now. On my uncles death bed he asked for me to make sure she's not alone and I foolishly promised to talk to her every day. I've talked to her every day since March 2023. I'm not gonna do it but I get why my cousin killed himself.
When she does pass her ashes are going in the toilet.
She was a therapist. I feel like the stories she tells are the reason HIPPA laws exist. One case is where she was counseling 2 couples. She personally thought they should all split up and talked them into divorce. Then convinced one woman who was prone to being verbally abusive to go on a date with the man from the other couple who had a history of domestic violence. After a few months they had a fight and he choked her to death. Somehow he's still pen pals with my aunt.
my aunt, a person who's been medically retired for over 40 years now and is directly responsible for 2 people committing murder and her step sons suicide: "It doesn't matter what he did before he became president, he's protecting Israel from those awful people."
If it was meters I'd consider doing that for my home, think of all the usable space

I went to Easter service with my wife because at least in Colombia when a family member passes(her mom) you can pay the church to perform the service in someone's honor. The main guy walked around with a metal bucket and a wand kind of like a honey comb to dip and flick at people. He was aiming right at peoples faces and the bigger the splash the bigger his smile. I'd love to get him some super soakers modded with co2 cartridges so he could blast everyone.
When my uncle passed away my aunt wanted a photo album put together of him over the years. I ended up getting a few hundred small picture frames from IKEA, 2@$1 cheap. I went through thousands of photos to pick out the best ones. Found plenty of him with his wife, his brothers, his son, my half sister, hit cats, his guns, his cars. Not a single photo of me. My wife made sure there was a picture of me the day we got married and it now sits framed on a table at my aunts house.
Interesting, I told my aunt about this just now and she started laughing and said Iran deserved it. How do you even talk to someone like that? She's 86, can't even feed herself but is completely up to the minute on everything NewsMax has to say.
I'm specifically talking about the "sorry, I can't see what you're sharing, I'm in the car" or while on an active incident a person says "I'll be back in a little bit" to go up to the store while their shitty code deployment took out production stuff. But I do acknowledge there are people that can be chilling 95% of the time because the 5% that they are needed they are available and do their stuff perfectly, they are the unicorns and I love them.

I knew people that did that for a few reasons rolled into one. Harder for dogs to dig, easier to spray away dog poop when you have a bunch and one has an illness and they were terrified of snakes.

I've had a standoff with my wife at the grocery store over white vs wheat because getting both is wasteful. I could smell her $800/bottle perfume but I did not get my white bread because she's Colombian and a foot shorter than me.
I love the shit out of WFH but the assholes that are out running errands all the time is the exact ammo HR needs to start calling people back to the office and other companies doing it definitely emboldens your company to do it too.
I got excited on #5 and though there was a new Burnout game coming out for a brief moment. That was nice.
I worked in Advertising for a while. A whole year's ad budget for a big grocery chain was $40,000,000 with new commercials made every 2 weeks for a big campaign.
My aunt fell down the steps with the 2 year old. We called DCF, DCF was already involved because of a problem at school where the mom was doing drop off drunk often, they took them away, found out this was the 3rd time DCF has taken her kids away. Aunt was interviewed, state gave the kids back again. Girl shows back up from time to time and throws food at my aunts house. Neighbors run her off. Yet we see reports of people with no record at all get deported for wrong skin color/accent.
Anything but the actual criminals huh? A girl lives down the street from my elderly blind aunt, my aunt is the little Betty White looking lady that always has candy. She has a green card, that's fine. She has 3 DUIs, 3 domestic violence arrests, fighting, drunk in public, child neglect and petit theft arrests.. 2 years ago the girl approached my aunt, got in an argument because my aunt didn't want to give her kids candy because she was drunk and pushy. She threw her 2 year old at my aunt.1/2

As a former trim worker I'm sorry for all the extra work I made painters and drywallers do. There's a lot of houses that had beer cans left in them and I was not careful. I did feel bad when I tracked glue up a wooden stair case but maybe don't stain it before the work is done.
