there is a reason the old saying was you could get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich. unlike normal juries, they dont need to convince everyone, they get a bunch of people and only need to convince a portion of them. and ontop of that there is no defense presented. just the prosecutors going in there and saying whatever they want and presenting a slanted view of things.
in normal times, they would still try to present realistic cases, so they didnt lose later, but they dont care anymore.

reddit already gives up users. the canary died back in 2016, if you have not been using throw aways since then you may have already had your reddit data given to the feds. i make a new reddit account yearly since im sure i leave too many personal details laying around to be safe-ish otherwise.

you get stuck in the mud, slow sinking over the course of hours or days all while going mad knowing you will die of thirst or gas. your buddies might try and save you only to die in the attempt or get stuck in there with you. and the mud and water that fills them is toxic of course, because of all the gas shells and sewage and corpses and rats and bugs.

so eventually they switched from days or weeks of shelling to a short super intense barrage with a lot more poison gas.

late in the war they learned to not do that if they wanted to make an offensive. its just too hard to move though. not only are there all the obvious shell craters, but they dont always form neat holes like you might think. the walls of the craters can be straight up and down or even overhanging, which can then collapse under your feet trapping you inside.

and of course, there is the mud, all that churned up dirt mixed with the rain can make it literally impossible to get out of, and so (1/2)

you can use a comma there to help with meaning if you prefer. "Military might, devoid of competent leadership, causes x bad thing".

or change the order/wording a little "when devoid of competent leadership, military power leads to tragedy"

there is an old book called speaker for the dead, from the enders game series, in which there was a public movement for speakers who would investigate the life of the dead person and give a realistic eulogy rather than just some positive comments.

it had enough of an impact on my life when i was young that in my will i have a location for my own self made version i wish to be made public to those who care. i update it each year on my bday. kind of a blunt and realistic short story of my life.

all that being said, we really are there to help you (if its a half decent pharmacy anyway). we dont mind talking to you or walking you through things or searching for the best discount program or calling the dr for you.

it just takes time we would otherwise be using to help other people or fill your rx, thus slowing things down.

as someone who used to work in a pharmacy, the things that slow everything down are: having no rx but thinking you should (dr sent it elsewhere or just has not sent it yet), wanting more refills without yet having dr authorization so we need to call and see if a dr will give it, not having insurance info, being a new customer (especially when you dont know all the needed info), the rx being illegible, asking the tech questions they are not allowed to answer while refusing to talk to a pharmacist

there is a saying that was popular for a while online. "You cannot reason a person out of a position he did not reason himself into in the first place"

10 months is just a normal deployment, its not anything weird -_- even if the war ended today deployments would continue, just with somewhat less bombing. she should be just fine, the us will not have massive casualties or fatalities without a major change in the war (ie ground invasion by hundreds of thousands of troops).

and for the people that will somehow take that as support for the war, its not. fuck trump and this whole mess, same as always.

thats an ammunition depot exploding after being hit with a bunker buster bomb, not random fires or bombs hitting the city and destroying it.

i imagine ill get a bunch for downvotes for pointing that out instead of just jumping on the bandwagon, but this is just not the us/israel massively bombing isfahan. dont worry tho, we have already and will continue to kill a bunch of civilians, its just not whats happening in this particular example (and no, im not in favour of the war)

its an ammunition depot that was hit by a bunker buster bomb roughly 24 hours ago, you will find more info looking for it under those terms.

while i dont think we should even be there without the international community agreeing beforehand, blowing up an ammo dump is not anything bad or weird during a war, much better that than a school for sure.

that bun looks like it has maybe 1/10th the seeds on it as the one in ceo video =(

not that i was likely to try it anyway i suppose, ~10 bucks too expensive for mcd imo, really most fast food has become priced out of my willingness to pay for it anymore.

well look at the professional burrito folder over here.

i say if you dont have ingredients spilling out the folds you are not really eating a properly filled burrito! *nods*

Yeah, that was my point. They are rabid about it, foaming at the mouth for any anti Israel content even if its fake or unrealistic or illogical. I think anyone with a heart is anti Isreal anymore with all the shit they do, but we need to be real about it too and not jump at every silly Twitter post or story.

yeah...this site has gotten so rabid about israel (and yes, i think they are awful as well) that its making it annoying to even look at most days.

they have however much sugar you put in them. im not sure why this idea that they dont have any sugar or flavour comes from, you can make them with whatever you like in them.

im not a big fan of them due to the texture, but they have all the flavour you want.

its absolutely not accurate. japan has plenty of plain tasting baked goods, but unless you are buying unflavoured stuff or have your taste buds totally blown out by sugar, they have plenty of flavour.

i buy a bunch of snacks from a japanese store multiple times a year to share with family and friends, they are far from flavourless. in general they share a lot of similarities to european baked goods, especially france. this is due to the massive european influence in the meiji restoration

i dont agree at all, neither about the pancakes nor the baked goods. maybe you just bad ones or your taste buds are blown out on sugar or something?

fluffy pancakes are not my favorite, but they have all the flavour and sugar you put into them (or whoever is making them of course). there is a huge variety of baked goods and some are very plain, so dont buy them if you dont want a plain thing. but you can say that about any nations baked goods (ever had a plain cake donut?)

fuckin hell that looks good. just need someone to bring some beans and rice to fill it out and a bunch of beer and you have the makings of a great day.

some of it would work well/fine for poached chicken or schnitzel/katsu/cutlets. tho i personally prefer my katsu done a bit thicker.

other than that, stir fry would work well for thin pieces like this if you are not precooking it. see a LOT of asian-american dishes served with chicken cut thin like this out here on the west coast

so the normal flat parts can just be ignored, after that there are the angled walls and the edges.

the walls can be done with an angled attachment on mower (thats how the city does my hill) or by a tracked mower or by a weedeater/weedwhacker/trimmer (or whatever you want to call them) or by hand. the corner/edges can be done by a weedeater or by hand.

when they finally get a version of starship and booster settled and proven reliable they will surely scrap the sls. sls is just too expensive and limited. my guess is artemis 4 or 5 is the last using sls.

my big question is if they will try and send like 10 crewed missions that build up on the moon before bringing them back all at once instead of ~4 ish there and back each time using a whole HLS, which seems wasteful. a bunch of HLS shells should make for really solid building components.

tsa misses 75-90% of the things when they are tested, so its not gonna make much difference. tsa is security theater, not actual security.
