I was surprised to learn that the most comfortable car seats on earth were made by Peugeot. At least the mid-60s to mid-70s models, anyway. Dunno about the newer ones. My opinion, of course. YMMV.
I've been using the minute button on mine for the last 4yrs because the 1,4,&7 button bank quit long ago. So I hit that minute button as many times as I want minutes of cook time. Somehow after several million punches, that one button is still perfectly functional. If I only want 30 seconds, I pull the food out after 30 seconds. I'm old & decrepit too, so we relate on those terms just fine.

That's mostly gritty particulates that are so small/ lightweight that they ejected up into the sky & fall out almost like snow, only it's basically silicates -- spun glass.You don't want to be breathing it in, nor do you want it getting on the finish, the hinges or other moving parts of your car like wiper arms, etc. so anything you can do to keep it off your car's finish will be helpful in preserving the paint job, windshields & any exposed moving parts.

I'd still be driving my 92Corolla if some kid in a Lincoln Town Car knew how to drive a big RWD V8 in a heavy rainstorm. Passed smog check with flying colors every time, most reliable car I ever had, doors locked with a key, roll handle windows, standard 5-speed so I could still get it started with a dead battery. I loved that thing.It was a tank. Broadsided at 60mph, shoved across 2 lanes & stuffed against the K-rail, I still was able to walk away but my poor car was flattened on both sides.
