I don't have the gaming requirements and fine with my QEMU/libVIRT/VirtMGR virtualization for those odd things. I totally get it though. There's a scanning workflow I miss that only Windows can deliver with the software I prefer. In the VM it's buggy related to time-outs between drivers and scanner, but I continue to resist to force the decoupling. Mint has been solid for me, but beyond browsing and VM's, my biggest remaining grievance is OneDrive, but I need to decouple from that too.

Boise and environs used to be my second home town. They people there are amazing, great outdoor culture and amazing food and beverage scene. Their state super-red weirdos do not deserve them. Keep it real Boise.

Looks like more AI crap.

This wreaks of AI nonsense. There is no way there's that many people out there with pet skunks to clip together. But I've been broken by too many cute "pet" videos on Youtube too so might be wrong.

I approve of space-friendly sass-mouth. Way to go kid!

The bottom half didn't happen, in my class anyways. We were sent home early. My mom met me at the door in tears. I didn't fully understand what happened at the time. I learnt how powerful a moment it was as time went on. IN the rear view mirror, I'm surprised I didn't feel much at the time because I loved space. I loved the shuttle. I was so excited for this mission. I was a deeply feeling child. I think this is the first time I felt trauma or shock that stuck with me. Dark laugh appreciated! :)

I'm definitely going to laugh more brownly. Her laugh never even registered with me because ... uh ... it's normal and what humans do.

Ya, I think I find myself doing the same there too.

Your headline was basically the take on one of the "Majority Report" videos tonight. I think she nailed it as you did. Also, the Jordan Klepper interview with Jessica T. on raging moderates is the other part to consider, people treating MAGA like a sports team divorced of politics ... and humanity of others ... since they're on the "other team".

"Centrists" claiming exhaustion from "culture wars" that really progressives did not start. Sure we annoyed people trying to expand their brain, but holy eff to go from that to destroying entire swaths of the population is not the same. Participating in protecting civil rights and defending your own along with just the simple right to exist is NOT A CULTURE WAR!

I approve! Although, the witches and lesbians didn't need me to, they've got their own inner strength.

I'm loving this on International Women's Day! It feels so a propos!

I've been using they/them when referring to people or a singular person for like 30 years when not wanting to presume their gender. Good lord people have slid so backwards. I get more elaborate pronouns confuse people, "hem" was something I never adopted. But if someone asked me to use it, I would because I'm not an ass hole. Also, I"m sort of done with gendered titles not sure when to use Miss, Mrs., Mrz, Mozzarella. I want more de-gendered nouns, pronouns, adjectives, adverbs and whatsits.

It has ruined YouTube for me. Heartwarming videos about dogs just let me know how I've been duped. Top of the deck are shelter dogs choosing their owners. Started as an original idea, co-opted into a virtually endless stream of slop and I'm ashamed I fell for it.

This is disturbing. I shared it with my 4 closest friends the moment I saw it.

It sounds like your boy is emotionally connected to you. My klinger will pop out from the hallway and come in, plop his but on the ground and stare at me intensely if I stare at my computer screen with even the slightest furled eyebrow line. I can't tell if I'm emitting sound, shooting off pheromones or there's something more.

I've loved watching atlas over the last year or few I recall first seeing them. You subject and photography is something I'm a little jealous of. My boy Oso looks away the moment a phone comes out. It's like he's being a dick on purpose.

I went minty later last year on my workstation. Likely going to do the same on this Win11 laptop I love or try another disty. I've found my love of computing again. Installing is easy, it's the rest after that comes with a little elbow grease. You'll feel really happy with yourself as you make little discoveries that had a bit of friction. It's hard to describe.

The first three chars work on so many levels. The US war on IRAs for the non-Epsteen class is likely already lost or just one more split between the haves and the have-nots. Can we work an iRAT in there somehow to keep this meme going?

My mom still has these speakers, they're great but a bit too much mid range for my taste. She loves them though.

Double spaces we're always the reason I grew up with and still yse. For me though, the comma preceding an and/or word causes a bit of a mental hiccup and I have to re read the sentence since it failed an integrity check. So, for me at least, readibility is a bit subjective.

The Oxford comma can get out of here too. I was strictly taught this was an abomination to proper grammar. What's next? Concentration camps for insufficient dangling participle usage?
