Conservatives in blue areas often run under democratic tickets because they know they won't win if they run under the Republican ticket. I've yet to see it happen the other way around. But she could just be doing that.
It's why the Democrats in Congress lose a lot of their pushes despite technically having the numbers. They are contending with members who always vote with Republican because they are Republicans at heart.

I believe he has meddled with elections kind of like trump keeps trying to but has been unsuccessful enough he is still losing this one. I vaguely recall he might have delayed them a bit for some "national security" bs also but I'm not sure.
It's mostly just important to trump he wins because he has copied Trump's playbook almost verbatim, and orban losing makes trump very uncomfortable because it looks like orban might face repercussions.
It amazes me how calm he is, this is just a fact of life at this point over there.

To be fair the man pays lip service at best to religion and only when he has too. It's not like he even really tries to hides it. It's the psychopaths who use religion to hurt people who think he is devout believer
I would bet money on him not doing it if only because he backs out on every threat he does. He only attacks if it's a total blindside. It's been a repeated pattern his entire presidency.
That said he also has never fucked up this bad and been left dangling in the wind. No allies willing to commit to helping and no underlings that could reasonably be thrown under the bus has really left him swinging wildly.

It has been interesting to watch him spiral. He created a problem he can't blame on someone else, his own ego won't let him back out, and flailing around till an adult on the world stage gives in isn't happening. He genuinely has no idea what to do because his entire administration is built on theatrics and not skilled action.
We could honestly be watching the real implosion of the administration simply because no one has a clue
